Week 2 (6 July 2020 - 10 July 2020)
"Experience is simply the name we give our mistakes." - Oscar Wilde
During my second week of internship, Hesh assigned me a few tasks including articles and editing modules. There were two articles that I needed to summarize and rewrite for Learning Edge's website. I had learned that when creating an article, it does not have to be necessarily lengthy but keep the main points and example clear and straightforward. Fahda, one of the Business Analyst guided me thoroughly on writing an article as well as proofreading before I sent it.
In addition, I also helped Hesh in editing one of the modules that need to be revised. Hesh's concern was that the modules seem too plain and wordy. It was a point-form module with minimal colors and long sentences. At first, I found it to be quite hard to simplify while keeping the important points as well as making it interesting to look at. I asked for advice from the staff and searched through the internet for guidance. After a while, I managed to create a few ideas and layouts as well as some mind-mapping techniques for the modules. I was so into it and tried to make it perfect as possible.
I did not realize that I took a long time when editing the module until one of the staff told me about it. One of the lessons that I learned is that we should deliver high-quality content instead of 'perfect' content. After that, I consulted with Hesh on what to improve and proceed to finish it correctly.

This was one of the tasks that I thought she did exceptionally well. It will be used for years to come as her new design template was leaps and bounds better than before.
