"Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end." - Semisonic This week will be my last week of the internship's blogpost. Since the recent government announcement of CMCO, all of the staff and interns were told to work from home for safety measures. I was assigned to upload training modules into the Learning Edge Academy. The topic is given to me consists of 11 modules with pre-course and post-course assessment. The process took me almost 1 week to completely be done. Even though we had to work at home, I managed to help Mira in calling a few clients and helping her to key in into the Google sheet.  It was a wonderful experience with Learning Edge. I am beyond thankful for continuous guidance and patience from Hesh, Mr. Perthpal, and all staff of Learning Edge. Thank you for teaching me everything that I could gain from this working experience. Definitely, there's so much more to learn and grow in the future. Thank you too to my academic supervisor, Ma...

"Continuous improvement is better than delayed perfection." - Mark Twain During this week, Hakimi and I continued to finish our training modules journey. We have 28 out of 147 modules more to go. Some of the modules were quite long and took half of the day to complete it. Other than that, we were doing pretty well with the help of other staff too. Getting good feedback from the previous content editing, Hesh gave me a few new modules that need to be revised and turned into interesting content that can please the reader's eyes.  Besides that, I also helped Hariz to transcript Mr. Perthpal's video into a copy of Pages. The video was 5-minute long and when I transcripted it, it became a two-pages long. There were definitely some challenges in completing the task such as the pronunciation, the terms used, and also the speed of the video. Nevertheless, I completed it with ease and I gained some great inputs as well as motivational quotes through it.

"Don't practice until you get it right. Practice until you can't get it wrong." - Unknown After the program ended, I helped Mira and Hesh with the participants' evaluation form and self-assessment book for the client's record. I also compiled all of the pictures taken during the program and gave it to the Business Development team for reference. There were some mistakes that I have made in the tasks given by Hesh on the evaluation form but I learned my lesson and never did it again. I also helped Faridah to edit some slides for her upcoming presentation. Since she was very strict, I made sure everything that being told was included. Hesh and Faridah taught me that every little thing is as important as others so always focus and be sharp when doing any tasks given.  During this week, Mr. Perthpal also asked fellow interns and me to reshoot the podcast session with us as the audience. We were told to dress up nicely and colorful, just like in the first shoot. Th...

"In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity." - Albert Einstein This week has been my memorable week of internship. It was a great experience to assist Hesh in a Protege Program. It reminds me of my facilitator days in college. The program was held at Sime Darby Plantation in Ara Damansara. Before the program, I asked Hesh what needs to be prepared in order for me to assist him well. Hesh showed me the tentative and activities that will be used as well as the instructions and materials needed. All of the activities conducted were connected with real-life situations therefore, I also paid attention and learned many things from it.  In addition, I would take the participant's attendance before every session starts. When the participants had questions or needed something, I helped and interact with them as much as I can do. The participants were in the same range of age as me so I had a great time sharing experiences and stories with them. I was also given the opportunity ...

Week 12 (14 September 2020 - 18 September 2020)

"The beautiful thing about learning is that nobody can take it away from you." - B.B. King During this week, Mira and I took the Sime Darby's participants picture for attendance taking through Google Meet. The participants were assigned to complete their exercises before the Protege Program begins on 21st until 25th September 2020. After taking the picture, I rechecked the attendance on the name list and emailed it to Mira for their record. I helped Mira with the attendance taking from 14th until 18th September 2020.  In addition, Hakimi and I continued to edit and recheck all of the training modules and updated it to Mr. Perthpal.

Week 11 (7 September 2020 - 11 September 2020)

"It's hard to beat a person who never gives up." - Babe Ruth During this week, I helped Mira to prepare for her upcoming Protege Program with Sime Darby Plantation. Some of the tasks include creating a name list for both online and classroom attendance, guiding the participants on using Learning Edge Academy through FAQs, and helping Mira with program materials. I also learned to use a new way of sending marketing boxes to clients by using Easyparcel. Fahda taught me on how to key in the data and make payments through the app. With this new method, we were no longer having problems like parcel pick-up delayed and expensive delivery charges by certain couriers.

Happy Independence Day! This was one of the designs created by my fellow interns, Hakimi. Meanwhile, I and Fahda searched for some interesting captions to be posted on social media. During this week, Hakimi and I with the help of Fahda, continue to edit the training modules as much as we can so that it can be ready to upload into Learning Edge Academy. I also learned how to write reports from Fahda for future reference. Aidil also assigned me to help him with preparing training materials for his upcoming programs. I edited out the unneeded contents and arrange all of the photocopies in order. He also showed me his proposal for a new project and taught me briefly on how he did a proposal.  Some of the training modules  Helping out Aidil's upcoming program materials
